In order to develop new and fundamental digital skills among workers, the new decree is signed by Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti and goes to make the new tax-advantaged scheme on Training 4.0 operational.
In this way, the training paths will be made consistent with the technological transformation of production processes peculiar to enterprises moving under the 4.0 transition.

How are the new 4.0 training tax credit rates increased?

50% to 70% of eligible expenses up to an annual limit of 300,000 euros for small businesses;
40 percent to 50 percent of eligible expenses up to an annual limit of 250,000 euros for medium-sized enterprises;
For large enterprises, on the other hand, the credit remains at 30 percent of eligible expenses up to an annual limit of 250,000 euros.
The areas involved in these training activities will be:

  • sales and marketing
  • computing
  • production techniques and technologies

They will be able to carry out these activities, only qualified entities outside the company, which will include highly specialized competence centers and EDIHs (European Digital Innovation Hubs).
