Greenomed was established with the aim of:

  • Increase energy efficiency and eco-innovation in the manufacturing sector in the MED area;
  • Promote resource reuse and reduce industrial waste.

To achieve these goals, Greenomed promotes a common methodology to constitute pilot projects, which will foster the development of sustainable manufacturing in all the regions involved. The creation of a network of pilot projects requires the identification of common challenges and the mobilization of considerable resources. Regions cooperate with each other to achieve this goal, with a view to developing the Smart Specialization Strategy.
